History

Casa Granada is a villa located on the Mulege Estuary. The four guestrooms on the upper floor include a suite with a skyroom, that can be configured to interconnect two of the rooms. Your room is accessible through a large open entrance hall, wide tiled staircase, and a balkony with view of the distant hills.

In addition, starting October 2008 we will offer 2 spatious Casitas with their own out-doors kitchen and secluded courtyard and Garden.

From each of the rooms you have a view of the Sea of Cortez and the Mulege estuary. Each room has tiled floor, its own bathroom with hand made tiles, Talavera sink, towels, face cloth, large shower heads, and shampoo dispensers.

WiFi connectivity.

Ceiling fans keep the air moving for your comfort in warm weather. In addition, each bedroom unit is individually air conditioned by remote control switch. Complimentary Coffee in the morning. Full breakfast (optional) is being served on a patio downstairs. Lena will ask you for your preferences.

Tours can be arranged for sports fishing, whale watching, pre-historic cave paintings, a large range with petroglyphs, SCUBA diving and snorkeling (www.cortez-explorers.com), clam digging. The Mulege area is noted for excellence in Dorado fishing, Ahi tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Cabrilla, Yellowtail, Sierra, Oachinango, Triggerfish, Pargo, Red snapper, and others. We have a small number of Kayaks and bicycles available for guests: a sit-on top, two STEARN inflatables, and two older SEDA glassfiber-epoxy for the more experienced. We shall point you to impressive local desert-ocean hiking trails, and a great snorkeling spot. The "back-yard" of Casa Granada includes kilometers of unpopulated sandy beaches, and sand dunes.
